The Musical Chairs World Championship made several waves in 2012. The event was a huge success, proving that the competitive World is ready to embrace the age-old game of Musical Chairs as an up-and-coming force in the competitive events world. The 2012 Championship Event crowned a World Champion & awarded a $10,000 First Prize, also unprecedented in the history of the game!
In early February the MCWC announced the date and location for the 2013 event, which is scheduled for November 23rd at the Tyngsboro Sports Center, an indoor sports facility located in Tyngsboro, MA, USA. Just days after this announcement, ESPN The Magazine released their “Music in Sports” issue

Musical Chairs World Championship Announces 2013 Event
Mark your calendars, folks! It’s official, the 2013 Musical Chairs World Championship is officially booked for November 23, 2013, and tickets are ON SALE TODAY! The event this year will be held indoors at Tyngsboro Sports Center in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, USA. The large indoor sports facility be full of energy and excitement as competitors sit their way to a Championship Title on November 23rd.
As this year’s hopefuls attempt to replicate the storybook ending of Mike Sugalski’s 2012 performance, hopes and dreams will be shattered en route to crowning the 2013 World Champion!
2012 Musical Chairs World Championship in the books!
Congratulations to Mike Sugalski, of Nashua, New Hampshire, USA for earning the title of “Best Musical Chairs Player in the World” at this year’s Musical Chairs World Championship event held in Amesbury, MA, USA. Mr. Sugalski, aside from the title of “World Champion”, earned himself the $10,000 First Prize.
The World Championship event is truly a celebration of Music and the legacy of the age-old game of Musical Chairs. The event featured a number of live bands, DJs, and other types of entertainment and attractions to keep patrons & competitors active and excited throughout the day.
